I'm in the middle of making cookies and my blender starts slowing.......................way............................................down..................................and then it starts to smoke. I guess it's time to replace that. But in my defense, I've had it since I went to college in 1993. It's a 3 speed mixer but it's only had about 1 1/2 speeds for a while now.
And then in talking with one of my friends who was over to visit me last week she said that as soon as she came home from my house she went to get some water from the fridge door and the water line wasn't working. Her first thought was to blame it on me. Turns out that the ice cube holder was over filled and upon clearing that, the water worked again.
I'm just having a string of bad luck with electronics and appliances.
