Dr. Dobson
The author of "How to Make Your Children Mind Without Losing Yours" was the guest speaker tonight and he's so entertaining. He started out with a story about one time he was coming back from a taping of the 700 Club and he was on the plane ride home and an older man who was sitting next to him started talking to him. They get around to asking what the other do and this guy says 'I just got done doing a show.' The older man asks this guy 'where did you get all this knowledge from?' This guy replies 'I got it from one book.' The other guy gets out a notebook to write down the title of the book and so he says 'Bible - that's B-I-B-L-E!'
"I've seen the enemy.........and they are small! And they reside at the same address!" And then he goes on to say that his wife reversed the door handles so that they could be locked from the outside.
If you have a son - don't let him walk all over you and don't take any grief from him.
I think I'll be listening to Kevin Leman tonight and getting his book! It sounds like just the right, humorous approach that I need.
