Utica

I hadn't studied OWL at all since Nationals started because I was cramming my brain with OLM # and VLY# and the like. I had also volunteered to play CSW because my brain felt so fried that I didn't think I'd really be able to play decent OWL games. As it turned out, I was pretty much correct in that assessment, but the tiles played themselves for the most part, and I drew a ton of blanks, and so it worked out okay. I'm glad to have been able to go to support spherulitic's event, and the winnings paid for all the overeating that I (we) did at Chesterfield's, Dinosaur BBQ, Five Guys, Capital Thai and Ommegang.

I also hit my 1000th tournament game at Utica. Like the rest of the tourney games, it wasn't particularly pretty, but it got the job done: http://www.cross-tables.com/annotated.php?u=9249

Also, here's the last game. It's kind of hilarious. Or it was at the time. I was gibsonized, so outcome didn't really matter.
