- played okay, drew pretty poorly. i think i challenged NICKLED once, so i got confused about NICKELED. chris tells me they are both good, but i won't remember that a week from now. poor me. play!
- i get burned by X plays about 8 times this tourney. his bingo-bango and blanks didn't help, either. play!
- get really lucky eights to get back in it, then lose in the end draws. i had a plan at the end, but now i don't remember what it was play!
- straightforward bagging. i guess i drew 4 power tiles, if you count the Q twice. by turn 8, 10 in the bag, quak says i have a 0.0009197% chance of winning. i wonder what it would take at that point to win?
- haha. i made up a phony five vowel seven (APNOEAE*) that made it pretty much game over at turn 8. i couldn't read my handwriting for the rest of the game, so no gcg for you.
- made a hail mary fish for AWNLIKE at the end and didn't hit it. this was closer than it probably should have been. play!
- we exchange creative phoneys (that are challenged), and i get better tiles, and a double V bingo for style points. play!
- i'm pretty happy about how i played this game, though still not thrilled with the result. another one where i probably should've lost by more. play!
- struggle through most of the first few racks, run out of time at the end, and have minor word knowledge fail on CURCH. play!

okay, that's day one and two. this is pretty painful to relive. it's going to get worse before it gets better. NYE dinner was pretty excellent, though.
