Out with the old
I declared my 1 months worth of notice at the jewellers today, it's like breaking upf rom a relationship that although you werent unhappy in, you know its done its course. Its not you its me, I want different things but we can still be friends?
I went for an informal chat with one of renfrewshire councils head psychologists about some work they would soon be carrying out, just to see if I would be interested. I went along thinking it was a "okay now fill in this form and hand in an academic cv and we'll see what happens". Howeevr, I was offered the job starting on the 6th of January.
So I have a proper fixed term researching job, the only drawback (where would life be without one or two of them) is the travelling to Paisley every day but if you think 2 buses or an underground ride and a train journey would put me off this type of oppertunity you would be very much the wrong one.
One more month of 1130 cups of tea, writing the price of everything in red pen and explaining to the hard of thinking that "yes it is silver, and I am sure of it"
I cant wait!
I hope I'll see some of you at lynz's birthday tomorrow, 8 at firewater. Cocktails and dancing, pretty much what lynz does best :D
