Life update
No one ever seems to update this livejournal thing anymore. Has everyone migrated to bebo and myspace and forgot the gentle art of blogging?
Basically my life has been like this:
I have studied around 11 hours a day for around three weeks
Due to this, I think I did well in my exams
I removed the red stripe from my hair, so I'm back to being monochrome (for now)
I got into volunteering for childline, I hear back about training very soon
I am trying to eat healthier, which means I have a craving for strawberries and grapes
Today I am going grad ballgown shopping, I am quite excited because its going to be better fun than my high school formal (but with less table fires I hope!) and maybe out for dinner with my family. My sister has just done her highers, which makes me feel really old. I remember studying for my history higher at the back door of my house but I had to move inside because there was a wasp who wanted to learn British Democracy.
I am waiting to apply for a research post at strathclyde and also a masters in Edinburgh. I hope the application forms for both will be up soon.
