Busy nights

Finally having bought "You forgot it in people", which has strong memories of our weekend at Indian Summer in september with non organic burgers, brown sugar in porrige and noodle vans as well as me, ross and the two kids behind us dancing like crazy to kc accidental, I rushed home. Well more walked quickly, I had important things to do in the flat ( Read more... )

Y'know sometimes you mention names and i think i know who the people you're referring to are but i'm never 100% sure. That's just a very random thing i thought i'd point out. I'm in a strange mood tonight, this morning. Whatever. It's so weird hearing people i know talk about living away from home when i'm still living at home, in the same room in Coltness i've lived in for the past 7 years. Watching tv shows with characters in uni and living in dorms and flates etc doesn't help, it makes me contemplative. Makes me wonder about how different i might be if i'd moved away from home. Yep, like i said, weird mood tonight. I'm also very rambly. I'll shut up now.

Jenkins as in Paul Jenkins, Nelly as in Christopher Neilson. Both of 1.4 St aidans High School fame!

Yeh I always wonder how I would have turned out if I'd have went into halls in first year instead of being all meek and mild and making friends as I went along. All the flatmates I've had have been friends first.

Do you think you'll move out?

I thougt as much, the Nelly one and having said you'd known him since you were 2, i sorta guessed i couldn't be wrong on that one. I mean how many people have the nickname Nelly? And i remember Paul Jenkins too, though sometimes i'd rather forget ( ... )

I gave myself the choice of learning to drive or moving out, I think because all my friends lived in or near glasgow (or the ones that lived further out would go to glasgow if we were hanging out) it was a giant pull factor. But it is a massive thing to do, you learn a lot and have a lot of fun in the process.

Plus it gets you out of wishaw :P

It's insane i always said as soon as i was 18 i was out of this place and never looking back. But i think a lot of things in what made me want to leave and so on changed and that made it harder. And i'm pretty much afraid of everything, lol. Which is a big factor. But yea, i need to do it eventually but it'll have to be the right time and be moving to the right place. I guess i'll wait and see what happens for now.
