Well this weekend was one of the more demanding ones I've had in a while:
Friday: School
Cats vocal practice.
Go home.
Pack, drive 3 hours to Ball State.
Saturday: Get up at 8 AM,
Shave,
Shower,
Check in and check music
Dance Audition my ass off,
Change buildings,
Sing and Act my ass off.
Drive 3 hours home.
Cats blocking for an hour and a half
Change clothes in car being driven to Music Theatre of Louisville
Check in
Wait in hall forever
Sing again.
Wait forever,
Dance audition my ass off again.
Go home.
Pass out from exhaustion.
Anyway, I came into school this morning, feeling particularly indifferent; not happy, not sad, you know what I mean? And I was immediately stricken by how much fucking drama trauma goes on in our school. Everywhere I turned there was badmouthing, slanderizing, and moping. I couldn't take it. I thought I was going to go insane. Just stop this madness people.
People are people, and they are entitled to be who they are and do the things they do! It may not please you to the utmost satisfaction, but sooner or later, we all have to get used to the fact that the world does not revolve at our convenience, and it's not all about us no matter how much we want it to be.
That said, life for me remains in a state of permanent neutrality.
