Must write new poems for slam tonight.  Wrote two that don't meet the Woods standard.  Finishing one that's got legs.  Need two more just to be safe.

Today will fly as a result.

Not counting my vacation time last week, this week has been the first "get 'er done" week of the year.  So far, I've been firing on all cylinders.  Recent developments first:

 I did a new poem last night at open mic.  It's working title is "For Tyler".  It's a poem dedicated to my nephew and it's WAY more honest than I usually am, and it's only one of a handful of poems about my family.  It is, however, a poem my family cannot see or hear.  It's TOO honest.
