Look: If the blurbs on the back of your poetry book are going to be insane and all ironically post-modern, I better be able to turn to any poem in the goddamn book and have the experiences described right-the-black-fuck-now. And for the record, when I see the word "idiosyncratic" and "inventive" I know what's fucking coming. I also know "musical" means "black".
