I used to keep track of every reading I did in the back of my journals but fell out of the practice a bit when I started MCing. I've decided to start that back up again. Keeping track of your set-lists helps on a couple of fronts, partciualrly in judging your growth, rate/quality of composition and the kind of material you do for particular audiences. I have a LOT of poems, so I like not having to reinvent the steering column every time I have to do a college classroom or something. It also lets me see where there are holes in the sets.
It's probably not the best idea to put them up here - I prefer having them handy at all times - but I've had a lot of new audiences lately, so I figured it might be cool for them to cross-reference what they saw a little. At least for now.
All poems are in the order presented live to the best of my recollection.
Poems with (***) are debut readings of the piece.
Poems with (^^^) are first-time reads of the poem in that particular, regularly-appearing location (Larry's or the
Writers' Block Poetry Night).

[1] I almost NEVER read a new poem in a slam, and the fact that I came in 3rd that night has something to do with the reason: the poem's are untested. Sure, I did a fine job with it, but I've worked some of the kinks out now and I would have done a much better job the second or third time around. Reading it at Catalyst just 2 days later showed marked improvement with a couple of edits and some performance considerations.
Well, the crowd talking during the first half of my second round poem didn't help either. Never give an audience a break if you can get away with it.
