Can't sleep. Liz had to take Milo to the emergency vet at 2 this morning and once I'm up, I'm up, and that's that. As if I didn't have enough problems, now I'll be tired today, too. At least I'm able to endure a movie right now: TNT is showing both Mortal Kombat movies back-to-back, and Annihilation just started. I'm sure this all goes back to the coffee I had yesterday.
[Oh man, this is my part: Johnny Cage gets killed in the first three minutes of the flick and you get to see all the new fighters. I'm sick they used James Remar for Raiden, but what are you going to do? Love Remar, hate white guys playing Asian gods of thunder. Raiden and Shao Khan's fight in the beginning is the bomb, though.]
I did get slightly productive this evening though: I did some editing of the "Navajo" screenplay (I can't believe I still don't have a title for this yet) and I actually still like it. That's saying a lot: usually when you let something you wrote sit for months it hurts your eyes to look at it again, especially if it's a first draft. This one, by contrast, still has people I care about though I have to get the action doing what I want it to do. It's agreat idea that's a pretty good story at this point.
Huh. Just typing that makes me want to pick up the last 50 or so pages and knock it out now.
Hmm.
