I should go to bed...like, NOW

Jul 03, 2009 02:22

Saturday we go up north until like, Wednesday. I won't have internet access, and it just might kill me. I won't be able to watch youtube clips, which is what I've been doing (i did however, put 4 on my ipod, so at least I'll have those) to survive the lack of a cast recording. July 14th get here asap. please. also July 6th (I think) because that's when Slow Club's new album will be released.

I keep wanting to get a paid account. But I'm hesitant to spend the money. I spend a lot of time on lj and I have so many icons saved to my computer, and I want to use them all at once, and not delete and upload and delete and upload. I just don't know. does anyone have a paid account? is it worth it?

I hope like hell it rains all day tomorrow so I don't have to work on the garage. If I could skip all the prep work and just prime and paint I'd probably enjoy this job. Because I also have to do my grandma's garage this summer.

Stephanie's mom is more excited than my mom that I renewed my driver's permit. Which, btw, cost me $25 and a massive fucking headache. apparently you have to take 5 pieces of identification with you instead of just like, your passport. which was all we used last time. we had to drive all the way home to get the rest of the things needed. and then we had to take the written test, which was simple. Anyway, I can drive as long as there's a licensed adult in the car with me. which means anyone 18 and up.

Apparently digital tv wants to be the biggest bitch in the world. It keeps cutting out on UPN, so I couldn't watch Frasier after Jimmy Fallon (which was awesome btw, there were glow in the dark glasses, a snowball fight, and Maya Rudolph, WIN). It never comes in well.

HAHAHAH my sister's cat just jumped up onto the sofa, came over to my cat, who's right next to me, and sniffed her, and then flat out attacked her.

I finally listened to Paolo Nutini's new album. With the exception of part of one song, I love it. I'm just not sure how I feel about Chamber Music. And last night PBS had a show on Garrison Keillor. It was pretty interesting. And I didn't realize his daughter's only 9 or 10. I thought she was way older.

Dreams and plans are in the making
Success is out there for the taking
Wish it was as simple as it sounds
I have no choice I have to do it
Face the future, walk into it
Now that I'm unfettered and unbound

Get out and stay out, I've finally had enough
Don't kiss me on your way out, it wouldn't move me much
You used me, abused me, you cheated and you lied
So get out and stay out, I'm taking back my life

question, {travel} up north, job: garage, music
