As it turns out, my last supervisor from my previous project had my net id on the disable list. She'd apparently forgotten that I was re-assigned to a different project. Today, my lovely wife turns 40. I am not with her. I am in NJ. It makes me sad.

She tells me it's OK; that it's just another day and we can celebrate when I get home. But I miss her, and I really, really wish I was home with her today.

So yesterday was Little B's 8th birthday. We celebrated by having an ass load of people come to our little tiny house and invade our quiet way of life for a few hours. Skating was excellent last night. For the first time ever, I went the whole night without falling (although B did her best to make me). In fact, B didn't fall either, and Little B (who only used the walker for a short time) did great and only fell a handful of times. I was so proud of him. Skating is really something we all enjoy.
