Gwen and Jack looked at Ianto.
"Of course we do. How often did Owen needed to patch each of us up after a job? Well maybe not all of us." Gwen glanced at Jack. "Do you really think we could manage without a doctor?"
"I'm not saying we don't need a medic."
"No Ianto, your first aid certificate is not enough."
Ianto ignored her. "Owen spent most of his time dealing with alien species he couldn't communicate with, species whose biology was totally different to ours." Jack smiled. "What Torchwood needs is a vet."
