“Why not Kurt? I’ve seen you checking me out when you think no one’s looking.”
“Why not? You’re a bully and a cheat. You only joined New Directions to stir things up.”
“And you’ve never stirred things up?”
Kurt glanced guiltily at Finn, Rachel and Quinn. “Why me?” he asked, changing the subject.
“You’re clever, funny, a good singer and have great fashion sense.”
“All true,” Kurt acknowledged, smiling. “But the answer’s still no,” he finished, walking away.
Behind him Jesse smiled, after all he loved a challenge.
