I received a most distressing letter from Creevey's father today, demanding to know why his son had returned home in the middle of the night. Aside from being initially impressed that Creevey has taught his Muggle father to use owls, words alone cannot state my irritation. This is not one but two Gryffindors who have decided to blatantly ignore rules by leaving Hogwarts grounds at their own personal flight of fancy. It is an abominable disregard for personal safety and the worry that professors feel at the realisation that a student has gone missing. Now I shall have to put aside an entire day to travel and meet with Creevey's parents, since Muggles cannot enter Hogwarts.

I should also like to point out to those students who have asked me if exams will be cancelled due to the library being in wreckage that this was a severe overstatement. The library is, in fact, in tact, short of a handful of books and one computer with a chipped keyboard. This is not an excuse to ignore your studies and anyone doing so will find themselves severely unprepared come 20 June. Irma Pince would like you all to know that the books and computers are in fact quite sturdy. This is certainly not the first time a duel has gone on in the library. Such actions are not encouraged but impossible to avoid in a school of witchcraft and wizardry.
