wrecked

So it's done.  The hard part of the move is done.
Record time for execution, I have to say.  Thomas, Scott, my dad and I just motored through the fastest furniture move in the history of mankind.  Two and a half hours from picking up the truck, loading it, driving to the new place, unloading, and dropping the truck off.  I've never seen anything like it.  Thomas and Scott work extremely well together.  Years of playing Tetris has its advantages.  Once Scott and Dad were on their way, Thomas and I did smaller loads of miscellaneous crap for the rest of the day in the Subaru.  At 5:30 we went back to the old apartment where Thomas picked up his bike and had to go to work (oh, poor thing) and I stayed and cleaned my little brains out until 9:30pm.  What a crappy job.  It wasn't as though it was dirty, there were just....BITS of stuff EVERYWHERE.  I was happy to be done with it.

The best part of the day was falling into the bed with clean fresh linens on it (granted, it's still on the floor), and drifting in and out of sleep listening to Thomas putter and shower before joining me.  I was so happy when he crawled in and made it official, moving day was finally over.

So now we're up and running, although not fully functioning just yet.  We'll get there, this weekend we'll probably spend the majority of our time figuring out where things will live, and deciding on paint colors.

I'm going to lie down for a cat-nap now...my head is splitting....
