The Village
I went and saw the Village tonight with Kyle. Good stuff. I'm one to think that M. Night Shamalamadingdong can do no wrong, so I was pretty sure I'd enjoy it. I don't know why people don't like movies that people put thought into anymore. I think our standards have become too high and soon we'll criticize everything. Accept it for the entertainment it was meant to be.
I'm going to visit my friend Emily this coming Sunday in St. Paul. She invited me up for a concert at which her sister's boyfriend's band is playing. It should be nice... as long as the weather is fine. I must say, I really enjoy getting out and traveling on the weekends and days I have off. It makes me feel like I've done so much this summer. Cheers to day trips.
We got a new computer desk. It's like a wardrobe you can close up when not in use. Very fancy schmancy. My parents spent a lot on this little piece of furniture. I like it.
