Pipestone
I was so wrapped up in the whole 'Bush coming to Mankato' thing that I forgot to tell you about my weekend. I work, of course, but then I went to Pipestone to visit Des (who was at Morris the 1st half of my freshman year). We've stayed good friends after she left and it's been cool.
We went to the Song of Hiawatha Pagaent, which is a community production done outside of the story of Hiawatha. It was a.o.k. I toured the National Monument and such and also went to a state park just outside of town. Pipestone reminds me of Morris... but even more "dusty". There's a lot of prarie and grassland. Anyway, all in all, it was nice to see her again and see the ol' Pipestone.
