The Monday after.

Well, this weekend was the big show. A couple of them, to be exact.

Saturday was a long day. I got up pretty early, for a Saturday, to start working on the poster board that would become something that most people didn't know the importance of. That's ok. I feel pretty accomplished for making a Tower Project deal so that people would get the connection between the name of the concert and such.

The show was good. I enjoyed it anyway. I think I was most pleased with The Plastic Constellations, judging both on their stage show and their personalities before and after the concert. It was nice getting to know Lazerbeak and the drummer from The Swiss Army and the bassist from TPC. I guess they just seem like guys that I went to high school with. Just out to have a good time and accomplish that however. Overall, KUMM made about $900 on the show and financially it was a success. I heard some good things and some bad things, but that is expected with anything. T Ryder, Jake Money, Mike D, and Jon Marchand all came down for the show, so it was nice to see some alum get out and enjoy it as well. Oh, and Mr. Running-for-the-US-Senate, Robert Fitzgerald was there. I thought that was kind of funny that he made it down AND the statement I heard about him from Sara Haugen in Student Activities. Basically, he was a thorn in her side (as is KUMM, in general).

Sunday, my parents came up and surprised Emily at her Orchestra concert. That was really nice of them to show up. It meant more to me than it did to Emily, and she was really happy. So, there you go. I also had the best fries ever at The Ranch House. Ugh... so good.

All in all, a good weekend. I'm tired and have lots of stuff to do for Thursday, but I'm not too worried. I really want to play heroclix, but I don't have time. Haha.. nerd.
