This place was a bit more of a drag then he would have liked, but he had successfully explored the entirety of the city within the week that he had found himself here. Aside from a prank and mostly ignored messages, he was more than ready to get back to where he belonged. How was he supposed to know if everyone in Midgar was alright after Meteor? It was a question that continually bubbled to the top of his mind each time he passed by that silly door in the middle of town.
Anatole wasn't the kind of place he wanted to stay in for more then an overnight stay. It was similar to Icicle Inn, really. The only time anyone bothered to go there was because there was no where else and business was slow. That or one needed to hide out. Sort of like Icicle, the citizens left something to be desired, and the other 'Scorched' seemed like unmotivated ants scurrying around for information.
Maybe they were more productive then he was. Maybe not. Who cared?
Walking through one of the long rows of the public market, he couldn't say that he was looking for anything in particular. He planned on travelling to the ruins later in the day in order to get a better gauge on what this 'mist' was about as well as the dangers that it held. He itched to know what was beyond it, yet everyone had warned him away from it as well. He had best be prepared if the rumours were true. Ultima Weapon hanging from his back apparently wouldn't be enough.
Glancing to the buzz of the Forge attached to his belt, he ignored the annoyance. No one interesting, unless that weird girl with a hero complex was texting him back. He wasn't about to listen to her voice in the middle of the market. Besides, he was used to ignoring his communication devices; nothing important happened on them unless he was asking for a member of AVALANCHE to get him a hand with something.
