[Lenalee didn't always need her boots to be quick. She could be fast enough on her own two feet when she needed to be. Or when she wanted to be, which was the case right now.
The day was still young and though she was only going outside of headquarters, she still had the feeling that Arthur might beat her there. Maybe it was the excited tone of his voice, like a child impatiently waiting in line for his favorite carnival ride.
Lenalee doubted he'd appreciate the comparison...but if the shoe fits.
She couldn't blame him though. Being airborn wasn't something that everyone had experienced. And even Lenalee had to admit that it felt nice to be using her Innocence for something other than combat.
She looked pretty excited about it herself, and once outside, Lenalee caught herself wondering aloud just how soon 'soon' was.]
