"Not bad, right?" Helen neglected the few perfectly good chairs and stools in the room, instead sliding herself right back onto the bar top. It was more a rhetorical question than anything, though Martha was likely within earshot. Deneve too for that matter. It was with the help of one good employee and one good friend that she was able to make some progress with the place to begin with.
Even now, The Foxhole wasn't the flashiest of places in terms of decor. The lighting was dim, the roof was tin, and some of the boards in the walls had been rotten and had to be replaced completely. Rustic. That suited Helen just fine. And it should suit the kind of clientele that she wanted to attract just fine too. Well, that and the number of bottles behind the bar.
"Now. If we could just figure out some way to make every hour Happy Hour." The Claymore grinned. But today was her bar's "Grand Opening". Maybe she should take one thing at a time...
