[Arthur was still cursing whoever'd put his name in as he followed the pull of the string across the city. After all the time he'd spent sneering at the idea of some Anatolean company knowing a person's soul mate, there was still a low tension in his stomach. He could feel the compulsion to seek someone out; he'd never admit it but there were people, certain people, that perhaps he wouldn't be completely horrified to find himself dragged towards.]
[So he didn't resist too hard, as his feet pulled him toward the ever-louder noise of the Carnival, the sound of laughter and music, the smell of sweetness and grease - making him think of peasant celebrations, of the Yule feasts and dancing in the streets that he'd watched, somewhat wistfully, from his tower window.]
[He traced the bright red string on his finger idly as he grew closer, peering around - he felt like he was close. His eyes skipped over passers-by until they caught on a similar flash of red, and immediately Arthur found himself staring at-]
[Oh, bugger.]
[Suddenly far more reluctant, Arthur pushed his shoulders back and set his jaw, striding towards Senji. Best to get this over with and the damn thing off.]
