FIRE! GLEAMING! lovedthedeadone October 23 2011, 01:18:27 UTC
[Roxanne leans over the railing on this lovely ship and tries not to take notice of the horrifying corpsey stench.

...it's easy enough, really, seeing as she's currently transfixed by the fires burning beyond the mist, and the distant roar of that great beast. Whatever it is.]

[How beautiful.]

[So the horrifying corpsey stench is pretty bad, and the truth is it makes Teresa's sword hand itch with the instinctive need to slice everything causing it in half.]

[But the corpses are docile enough to stay her hand, so she merely wanders through them, eventually coming to to the side of her... comrade? Friend? Who even knows.]

Roxanne, you made it. This is certainly an interesting way to travel, hm?

[About a second ago, Roxanne was bored. Now, suddenly, Teresa! And Teresa is definitely not boring.]

[So she turns with a little smile on her face.]

Mmm! I've never been on a boat. Have you?

[Teresa shakes her head, and then she not-boringly leans over the railing, hair fluttering everywhere.]

I can't say I have. There were never any worth taking back home. Boats were for fishermen, not wars.

[Or traps.]

Still, I'd take this over more magic.

Magic can be nice, I suppose. [She smiles, charming charming.] ...depending on the sort of magic, and the context of it all.

Still! Fishermen are dull and war is not. I'm always interested in new kinds of battle... and new places.

Perhaps. I'm afraid I haven't warmed much to it since arriving here. Give me a sturdy sword and a solid boat, I can get just as much done as any magician.

[She eyes Roxanne appraisingly. Wanderlust, eh?]

Something new would pick my spirits up, though. What do you suppose we'll really find there?

Oh, plenty of things to kill, perhaps a little recreation. Something to look forward to, I'm sure.
