[Such a dear little thing. Roxanne leans forward a little and sniffs the flowers.]
Without our collision, I would never have come to meet your lovely blossoms.
[Standing upright again, she tips her head a little. Like most of her fellow warriors, Roxanne towers over a normal woman. It is typical, to her - even average warriors tend to linger within a few inches of Roxanne's nearly six foot stature. Which means that, looking at Momo, her immediate thought is, This girl is so small to radiate such strength.]
[Interesting, the rules of other worlds - the way their power worked, the way their people looked. Dark hair, dark eyes, and so petite. On her own world, someone like that would be crushed in an instant.]
[Of course, on her own world, someone like that wouldn't have that alien energy signature either. Something to look into, perhaps?]
...besides, it isn't an inconvenience. I always enjoy an introduction, don't you? New people can bring such a spice to things... especially in a world like this. So little monotony here. So much to learn.
For example, my name. Which, by the way, is Roxanne.
[She smiles.]
What a pleasure it is to make your acquaintance, Momo Hinamori. Tell me... is that one name or two? Or more?
[ she's still for a moment, unsure what to expect when Roxanne leans toward her, but then relaxes into a soft smile when it becomes evident that it's only to smell the roses in her hand. ]
You like flowers? Ah well, that's kind of a silly question, of course you do! I've never met someone who doesn't like-- [ she cuts herself off there, wincing a bit at her own tendency to ramble when she's nervous. taking a short moment to inspect the bouquet, she plucks out the best-looking rose, and then offers it to Roxanne with an outstreched hand. ]
Here! I'm not sure if you're familiar with flower language but... yellow roses symbolize friendship. Not that I think the we're friends exactly but--
[ this isn't going so well is it? a soft sigh before she tries again: ] It's nice to meet you, Roxanne-san.
[ a pause, and an incline of her head. ]
Oh...! Momo is my first name, and Hinamori is my last? I'm not sure how else to explain it. . .
.....this is old as hell and I didn't even realize I owed it and if you drop it, that's okay >.<lovedthedeadoneSeptember 30 2011, 10:28:49 UTC
I love flowers! Roses and lilies and daisies and lovely, lovely lilacs.
[Roxanne smiles, and her mouth is as red as the reddest roses, too. She accepts the rose - yellow, this time, like marigold and lemondrops, and inhales its scent, deep.]
We can be friends if you like. Maybe not right away, since we've only just met. But over time, Momo.
