[This was long overdue. Riza should have come down here and spoken to Edward right after Scar had asked her too, but things had been complicated. She'd been preoccupied with her personal situation, with the Colonel, and she had put it off. And then Scar and the Colonel both had disappeared and her priorities had shifted again.
And now they were back, and she felt remiss in not having spoken to Edward yet. Making her way down the hallway of the Outlander building toward his room, she wonders at this place, this city which makes her go through these motions multiple times. But at least Edward remembers more this time than last, that should make this conversation much easier now.
