She isn't wasting any time. But then, Elena rarely does. Being idle is almost physically uncomfortable for her and there's always something she wants to do. There's always something that she needs to do. And for a good number of months, Elena believed herself the only one who could do it.
But then she started making connections, forging actual bonds. And Elena slowly started to realize that there were other capable people in Anatole. Maybe even people she could trust. Turks. Because those were the people who could do the most and she could trust the most.
And it made her feel a little less lonely.
It was a good plan that she had, a beginning. But there had been hundreds of times when she asked herself what Tseng would think or do in certain situations, times that she longed for his guidance. If ever she had an idol, it was him, that much was clear every time she said his name. Would he be pleased by her actions? Disappointed? Would he do the same thing or something completely different?
Now she would finally know.
She spun around at the sound of footsteps, her weapon already in hand before she recognized who the footsteps belonged to. "Zack." She sighed the SOLDIER's name before relaxing a bit. It wasn't surprising that he was going to greet Tseng as well. After all, they'd known each other too. And she was actually grateful for a number of reasons. Safety..Yazoo had likely noticed Tseng's arrival along with everyone else. So she waited for him to catch up, brushing at the sleeves of her jacket and making sure her tie was proper. Stand straight Elena, shoulders back....
Elena blinked up at the SOLDIER before frowning.
"Do you have to be so tall?"
He was gonna make her look bad in front of the bossman!
