I hadn't yet experienced a winter with the Night's Watch. But I do remember a winter. The cold and the fear, the threat of hunger. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

....why did you join the Night's Watch? It seems a strange decision. As the son of Lord Stark, even if you did not share his name, your life must have been more comfortable than most.
