How kind of you to ask. As it happened, I did very little of note during that situation... aside from maintain the safety of my immediate area. I was engaged with my work.

Indoors, I presume?

Certainly. I've never been one to involve myself in the petty wars of the masses. You know this.

I most certainly do.

[Of course, this war was hardly petty. Even if it were, Isley knows Aizen is a man to involve himself in matters of sufficient interest or use to him, petty or otherwise.]

Were you able to accomplish much, I wonder? You did not find the treacherous circumstances to be distracting?

Working in adverse conditions is hardly unusual to me. I wouldn't say that I felt especially inconvenienced.

And did you enjoy your trip?

I suppose I did. It passed the time well enough.

Always a concern, I suppose.

I assume the dragon survived the conflict?

It seems that it was fortunate, yes. I am sorry you were not present to bear witness.

I would have been, were I interested enough to make the journey. But, of course, I have seen any number of strange and powerful beings in my time. As I'm sure you have.

Yet, there was more than just the creatures to see.

Indeed. There was that archway as well, wasn't there? And any number of squealing villagers. But that's hardly unusual.

Does this new archway not interest you, Aizen?

Perhaps it does. If so, it's likely to remain there for the foreseeable future.

Of course, but it is important to view such structures during the times their surroundings are most active, as well as when they themselves experience recent activity.

[A soft and airy chuckle...]

Then again, if you're not interested, then you're not interested.

I'll not bother inviting you to join me when I go to see it again, though I had truly hoped you might be inclined.

[...what are you up to, Isley?]

I did intend to go eventually. It makes little difference to me whether the trip is made alone or in the company of another.

Admittedly, it makes a great deal of difference to me. If there was anyone else that I could ask this favor of, I would sooner do so...but there is no one. Therefor, Aizen, I find myself desiring your company. You are the only one truly qualified. I would have your input on my findings involving Anatole's Door, and on the nature of the new one to appear in Wynn.
