[Enter one Priscilla, currently sitting on a step in the backyard of the primary Alliance headquarters, taking in the last bits of darkness before the coming of dawn. For the moment, she is nearly glowing in the moonlight - pale skin, pale hair, a white slipdress, and of course the strange, otherworldly shimmer and glow of her eyes - silver and

[ He doesn't bother with a greeting, either. It's pre-dawn: formality seems ridiculous. Instead he pulls his coat tighter around his otherwise bare chest. Even his natural warmth can't keep away the temperature. ]
That was nice.
[ He yawns. ]
Feels like it's been a while since you did one of your spiels.

[In fact, she radiates heat like a miniature furnace, at the moment.]
Mmm. It takes a while to get them together, these days.
...you're up early!

[ The sarcasm in his tone is transparant: he doesn't hate it at all as much as he pretends. His eyes are still on the dog as it races around, sniffing at things. ]
It's good to get up early sometimes.
[ His eyes slide over to the jar and its little lights, and he tips his chin to indicate it. ]
I see you've added to your menagerie. You know, they don't have those in Camelot.

[She lifts the jar a little, and lets it swing slightly in her fingers.]
It was a gift from Isley.
...I still don't think the count, though.

[...and wasn't there another Stark?]
What about Tony Stark!
...I'm sorry for attacking you with questions. You can ask me as many as you like!

I'm glad you've found each other, then.
...as for winter, that question would have really confused me a few months ago. But they only last around four months. And summer lasts for maybe two months. It's pretty routine, really!
I would call them... well. If the stories I've heard about your northern lands are true, and they're anything like the ones I knew from my home, I guess they won't really be all that bad for you.
Sometimes there's so piled too high to open the doors, and day doesn't come at all. But in the end, it's still only a few months.

I didn't take you for a sword type!

[A pause, and then some more words appear onscreen.]

[He shouldn't be this excited, but she's one of those with silver eyes. The ones Dawn said could live on one muffin.
...which means they aren't normal, so he wants to see for himself.]

[THIS IS NOT A PLAYDATE, PERSON SHE DOESN'T KNOW.]

[...at least not the way it was supposed to be used. He's more the sort to turn himself into a weapon or attach other pieces to himself.]

[A great deal of it, if the timing of his response is to say anything.]
Priscilla, I have a proposal for you.

[Definitely more effective for privacy.]
All right.

That said, I feel I should concede; you were right when you said that I did not confide in you. Perhaps it is time that I do.
I want you to understand why I have not up until now, however. You do, don't you? If not, I can explain. It might do us both some good to have it all out in the open, besides.
[He turns his head and stares out the window of his study.]
If I am to confide in you, however...I would like the same in return.
You said recently that you felt blind. With you I feel the same. I would not have it remain this way, it does neither of us any good. So, what do you say, Priscilla?
Does this sound reasonable to you, and do you feel it is a goal we can reach together?

[The screen jars a bit as she walks across the edge of the roof, one foot in front of the other, steadily.]
...well, anyway.
I definitely want to try.
