Thank you. I could not ask for a finer compliment, I think.
Of course, that is the nature of northern lands, wouldn't you agree? It shapes its inhabitants, it hardens them. Those of northern regions know a hard living, know what it is to fight for their survival. Each day is a fight against the blistering cold, for the food they eat, for their warmth...just to keep those fires burning against the biting winds.
But I would not trade it for summer lands. I have been to them, wandered the green fields and dense forests, gazed up at blue skies and felt the warmth of the rays from the sun. None of it compares to the North.
[Robb, were he of your wall, he would be a thing from north of the Wall, a thing you Starks would, as children, be sent to your beds shivering in fright of. But he does not say this. Instead he returns the smile, although it is more subdued.]
I am afraid I am not, as you are both not of Alfonse, but it is enough for me to know that there are others here who possess hearts forged by winter.
You truly are of the North.

Did you doubt, Robb Stark?

Are you certain you are not of Winterfell? I swear, my lord father has spoken of the winter in the same appreciative terms.

[Truly, he is longing for the snow.]
