[ The Forge was turned on, but it seems the girl who turned it on isn't aware to that fact. She knocked into life as she lifted what seems to be a little pink trolley and laid it on the bed. Currently she's talking to herself in a very frantic way. ]

[So Break has absolutely no idea what she's talking about, but she seems very frantic about it, whatever it is. And her singing's pretty good, too. Still, it raises such a variety of questions. The most pressing being...]

Who's Barbra Streisand?

[Naturally.]

[ It takes her a second to figure out that the voice comes from the device but then -

What did you ask Break?

What did you ask?

Oh God. She has been sent to a place where musical culture is nonexistent. ]

[ Rachel's voice is clear and reeks of outrage. ]

Barbra Streisand is perhaps the world's greatest musical icon. She had oriented so many iconic characters on Broadway, and has made it with her talent and confidence.

...Which is something I would expect most people to know.

[Oh, that's a wonderful reaction. Break cackles.]

Well, I've never heard of her! Or Broadway, for that matter. So I thiiiiink perhaps she's not quite as iconic as you believe...

Orrrrr we're from different worlds!

Or both. ♥

We must be from different world, and if I may say, your world sounds horrid, if it doesn't have Broadway in it. An entire world devoid of cultural education of musical theatre.

Oh, we have theatre. A bunch of fops parading around stage in powdered wigs and gaudy costumes?

[Yawn!]

Not exactly myyyy idea of a good time!

That's not my idea of theatre. Theater is classic and refined and the place where culture is made.

If you saaaaay so! But there's not much of it here, either, as far as I know.

Welcome to Anatole, by the way.

Ohhhh, exxxcellent! I look forward to many spirited performances, then. Maybe you can change my mind about theatre.

There's not all that much friendly about this city, so I figure I might as well chip in when someone arrives!

I have no doubt that through the course of time, you'll grow to love theatre!

-- why aren't people friendly? If - if we are all stuck in this together, we might as well be.

I'm sure I will.

-And you know what, I do know someone in this city involved in theatre. It completely slipped my mind! But she's a dancer; I'm not sure if she sings. Still, perhaps you should inquire with her about how to get involved~.

[Although, Lust's profession might not be the kind of theatre Rachel has in mind. Not that Break knows this, never having been to the show, nor knowing what a gentleman's club is.]

Oh, the other Scorched are generally agreeable. It's the natives you need to look out for. And of course the Mist.

You do? W-what's her name? I'll go see her as soon as possible!

And - how can I tell who the natives are?

[What is her name, again? She gave it to Break once. He calls her Heart-san, but that's a completely fabricated name. Didn't she have two, actually? Break can only remember one.]

Iolanthe, I believe. Hold on, I've got her Forge number.

[Fumble fumble is that someone else speaking in the background? The voice sounds stilted and computerized. After a moment, Break repeats the number: 29857606.]

Did you get that? You can tell her Xerxes Break sent you!

Oh! But I don't think I got your name, my dear. If you're to be a star, I'd certainly like to remember it. ♥
