[Simon decides to type a message on the strange device, not wanting to give away his face or voice until he finds out whether or not there are any authorities on this planet that might want to turn him in, both as a fugitive from the Alliance and now as a member of the crew that helped expose the secret of Miranda to the whole 'verse

So hello Simon, the blond greets you with a smile- and thankfully at arms-length that you can see more than just a bright green eye.]
That's probably to do with coming through the Door, a sort of after effect from being pulled over here from our worlds, as I've come to understand, anyway. It should go away after a while.
But welcome to Anatole!

Hello, this is Simon. You've been trying to answer some of my questions about Anatole. I was a doctor on a spaceship called Serenity, where I lived with a crew and my sister River. I really want to get back to them, but-
[There is a note of sadness in Simon's voice.]
-people are telling me that just isn't possible. As for this door, you spoke of it as though it were a very specific, important door. Clearly not the one I was thinking of, which I guess I knew, really. I just was hoping maybe I was wrong about something having pulled me here.
My head's been feeling funny for a while, though.

I'm sorry, a...a space...ship? [He cocks his head at that. His smile softens though, and he nods in understanding.]
That news is difficult to accept, but that is what I've been told as well. I've not been here a month yet, but from my understanding, this occurrence is quite commonplace, unfortunately. People arrive all the time- from different worlds- but once we're here, we're unable to go back.
...the Door though, yes. It's hard to miss once you see it, out in the city. I'm told we all come through it, but I don't remember anything of it myself. Woke up in a strange room and then found this odd device- it's called a Forge, by the way- and it's amazing really, being able to talk to other people from afar through it! -ah, sorry, I'm getting off subject, aren't I?
Your headache still hasn't gone away?
