Seems I've let a lot of things slip through my fingers lately. Mostly good things. Bad things always their fair share of attention, but the good go begging. I'd like to remedy that.
Like...I've only found three kinds of olives for Nill to try, when Camelot had six. I'm sure the three that I'm missing are the very ones that the ducks would actually eat.
But then Arthur's gone and given them a taste for chicken. They managed to peck at the one I made for dinner last night before I could stop them. [Just the latest in a line of excuses for why there's no meat on Arthur's plate. It's more comfortable than the truth.] Verity, do you think Arthur Watson would like the rest of it? I have something I've been meaning to give you as well.
Anyway, I know I can't give rousing speeches the way that Arthur can, but I do believe things will turn out all right for everyone. Eventually.
I have reason to believe it.
