[There is a soft, mechanical hiss as Itachi turns his Forge over in his hands and the small device begins recording. It is not unalike machinery he has seen before, despite a more primitive design, and he recounts this is a quiet voice to himself, though much of what he is saying, initially, does not translate audibly over the speakers. Instead what is heard is more like soft, human muttering...
After a few more moments of this, Itachi sighs softly. It seems that he is now aware that the Force is recording. Taking only a moment to consider this, he decides it is in his best interest to send out a message, making use of the tiny machine he has come into possession of.]
My name is Itachi Uchiha-I am not sure where I am, or how I came to be here. Any information regarding either would be greatly appreciated, if it is available.
[He supposes that this is a good enough beginning and shall suffice, and without further delay he continues, his tone remaining checked and without a hitch of the concern that would pollute most new arrivals' voices.]

[A brief silence hangs in the air as Itachi analyzes the device once more in attempts to discover the switch that will stop the recording. After finding what it is he was looking for, he rests his index finger-which produces another muffled hiss-against the appropriate button on the front of the hand-held device.]
My gratitude is extended, in advance, to anyone who so chooses to be of assistance.
[As he presses the button, the audio feed cuts off cleanly.]
