It certainly has calmed down now that the infestation of children has reached its end. Personally, I find the relative silence quite gratifying... though relative is, of course, the key term. The coming of warm weather always seems to inspire chatter and discontent

My thought exactly. I am certain there are many of us who have pressing matters awaiting us elsewhere.

Of course, working with things well outside the powers present in one's own homeland can prove challenging.

Under circumstances like that, I would be hard-pressed to consider it giving up at all.
