[The feed broadcasts in the wee hours of the morning, when all who are sane or not insomniacs are asleep. It's not quite apparent whether Sebastian intended to use the video feature, but here he is: the Forge is in one hand, and in the other is a candelabra with three burning candles that cast long shadows on his face. It isn't mine to sell. As butler to the Phantomhive family, it is my job to maintain the household.

[It's just a bit... monetarily questionable at the moment.]

That is part of the dilemma. The property was acquired under the supposition that Funtom would be able to pay for it once the business was up and running. But I'm unsure of the enterprise's future at this current time.

[Pause.]

Forgive me, sir, I should not be burdening you with my financial troubles. I don't think we've met, have we? You may call me Sebastian.

I see. How did you hear of it? If you do not mind my asking.

[Perhaps his master had spoken to this man in the past without Sebastian's knowledge. He certainly hadn't been able to keep track of Ciel's every moment while being bogged down with so many tasks.]

As the for development, not very far. We've been in the process of renovating the building for quite some time. The repairs needed were extensive, although the funds available to us were not.

And it's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Lelouch.

Ah. I thought perhaps my master had discussed business matters with you. [Since Ciel wasn't too big on the letting him in on plans thing.]

No, the renovations were the main focus. The manufacturing side of things hadn't yet been touched, to my knowledge.

Are you an entrepreneur yourself, Mr. Lelouch?

A pity. He's an interesting person.

It could, but I confess I've no interest in handling that sort of affair. I'm only a butler, with little knowledge of real estate.

I wish you luck in that endeavour, Mr. Lelouch. Where does your business expertise lie?

Perhaps he will return in the future, and you will get that chance.

A shrewd business move. What is your current profession, if I may ask?

[What a weird little scholar. He almost sounds too clever for his own good.]

That shows ambition and integrity. What sort of enterprises would those be?

You are correct. Although I would venture a guess that you would offer such services to everyone, and not only for one particular household.

[Which might work out well for him, as Anatole has a distinct shortage of butlers.]
