[It's a bit of an unusual sight, but at the moment, Priscilla is sitting in bed, wearing a slip-dress style pajama, and leaning on her one good arm. The other... well, there's definitely something wrong with it - it's there... mostly. But it's bone-thin - even thinner than normal, and covered in bandages from shoulder to... well her hand isn't

What... what happened?

[Wait, she asked a question, didn't she?]
It's... nothing, really. I got into a fight, and um, my arm and leg got kind of. Pulled off.
[...it never sounded weird before she came here.]

[ Oh wait. Back up. ]
What? [ People don't just regrow limbs Priscilla D:! At least not the ones she knows. ]

Err. Well! They got pulled off, but don't worry about it. They're already regenerating. I just... can't walk for a while, that's all. Well. Or write. But I'll be fine in a few days.

You can ...regenerate your arms and legs...? How? I've never heard of any magic capable of doing that. Why did it happen anyway? Did you run into one of the beasts in the ruins?

[She gives Freya a friendly smile, and then... tips her head a little.]
I can regenerate anything except my head, really... Or, well, I could regenerate parts of my head maybe but I'm not sure how much if anything since I've never had a head injury. It's not magic, though, not... exactly. It's just one of my abilities.
And I ran into... err. Well, I guess you could call it a beast in the ruins. [...kind of.] There aren't any monsters in the ruins that can hurt me, really. But there is something else. One of the Scorched. I guess you could call her an enemy of my kind... and of me.

I suppose.
[ That's actually kind of fascinating. Regenerating body parts without using magic? ] The Scorched - that's a person that was brought to this place, right? Not one of the ...the locals. So you got into a fight with another person like you, and ...they did that?
Are you really going to be okay?

But yes, basically. [She taps her bony shoulder.] Yesterday there was nothing here at all. But I need to rebuild it, starting with the bone. And then the muscles. ...err. The skin kind of. Comes last. That's why I have the bandages.

It's much easier to just reattach a limb, but that doesn't always work. ...especially if I don't have it with me.
Which I don't. I kind of left them in the ruins.
Reply
You're lucky. Not everyone can do that ... [ ... just...left them in the ruins. ] How did you get away?
Reply
But I was with others at the time, so they helped me escape.

[ Very weird. And yet, neat. ]
I'm glad you weren't alone.

Most people were just... people. Humans with no more power than any other person in any other world.
And then there were the yoma. The monsters. They fed on human flesh, and could take the form of their victims, living among humans.
And then there the warriors. Like me. We're... part yoma and part human. We were made... well. We defend humanity.
Yoma can regenerate... and so can warriors. But how well depends on the strength of the warrior. Er. Or the yoma, I guess. And also the type! A defensive warrior heals much better and more quickly than an offensive one. But offensive warriors have greater offensive power!
...and then there's me. I'm a little weird.

Part yoma, and part human? [ "Made" is a weird way to say born, Priscilla. ] ...? What's weird about you?

Born human, and transformed into a hybrid. It isn't pleasant. But it's worth it.
[Her head stays down for another beat, and then she looks up and gives a tentative little smile.]
Well... usually offensive types can only attach their lost limbs again. Err, or they could grow a human limb, but not a hybrid limb. ...did that make sense? Anyway... I'm an offensive type, but I can still regenerate lost limbs. So. I'm definitely weird.
But I'm not as good at it as a regular defensive type, since it's kind of. Against my nature.
I didn't really know how long it would take until now. I don't usually get injured.
