[Lucian's carefully flipping through the pages of an old book. The paper is yellowed and stiff, and the cover is suffering from bad water damage. It's still mostly covered in dust from the ruins.

Old book from my home world. It's a history of the vampires...the current dominant class. [Shrugs.] Not that there aren't a dozen others, but this volume was part of a collection that was lost centuries ago. There might be information the newer books don't have.

Seems to be. All the basics and the majority of the finer details match up to what I already know. What I can't verify is the older history - origins and names and such. Lines up with the commonly accepted knowledge though.
