-21- [valentine's video]
[There's a soft thumping sound and a little whine as the audio turns on. The sound repeats and after a few times the video feed kicks in and reveals that the source of the sound is a fluffy black and white tail bumping into the Forge. The whining is also coming from the dog who belongs to the tail, though the person partially framed in the Forge's screen doesn't look much better off.
Riza is seated on the floor with her back against the bed, her legs hugged tight against her chest and her head hanging, a veil of blond hair tucked behind her ear to leave unshielded a face which can't really be described as anything but miserable.
The dog walks over to her and nudges her hand and when she looks up her eyes may seem a little red. She offers the pup a wan, heartbroken smile and extends a hand to scratch him behind the ears. He scoots closer and she pulls him into a hug.]
Hayate. What am I going to do?
[She turns her face against Hayate's fur and pulls him close. The feed times out after a few more minutes.]
