[the feed flicks on with a clatter, aimed up towards the ceiling at a slight angle-- half of the screen is blocked by the underside of a bed. there's a faint screeching coming from the other corner.
a frantic squeak, hissing, and very angry rat sounds--
--and then there's silence.
footsteps, and Kanda slowly approaches the fallen Forge, and those more familiar with him will notice that his hair isn't up in it's usual ponytail. he nudges it out from under the bed with a bare foot after realizing that it's already on, and when it slides to a stop, he crouches down and holds Mugen's tip out over it.
a rat is skewered to the end, very much dead. he hasn't touched any of its... accessories.. so it's still wearing a gleaming ruby ring for a necklace.
Kanda, for his part, looks decided curious.]
Think we can eat these things?
[not that he would, mind you. he'd just. feed it to someone else. but first he needs to find out if they're edible! and if they aren't...
