[Looks like Balthier is outdoors, this time, possibly at the outskirts of the ruins, in fact.]Vampires and wolves that aren't. Exploring the ruins seems to get livelier each week. A pity, but hardly unexpected. This world doesn't appear to have the flocks of fat merchant airships that tend to draw the kind. I prefer ruins treasure, myself. Less fuss.

What's the different between ruin treasure and other treasure? Besides, uh, the fuss?

Ruin treasure tends to be more exotically valuable. Merchant ships have goods and gil, but the ruins have ancient artifacts and millenia-old caches. Exactly what depends on which ruins and whose they originally were. If fortune favors you ill, you'll wind up with some old kook's ancient bed slippers.
