Scarcely any point in having dangerous ruins if there isn't loot to be had.

A pity, but hardly unexpected. This world doesn't appear to have the flocks of fat merchant airships that tend to draw the kind. I prefer ruins treasure, myself. Less fuss.

I've a fondness for my fomalhaut, but I'm rather flexible with weapon types.

A firearm? Those are quite unwieldy where I hail from, but there's no denying their usefulness at long range.

I find the distance beneficial to strategy, but not really what I'd use with a monster's maws closing upon my head, no. However--- what flexibility it might lose, I make up for with good aim.

Gauge away, though I'd think you'd best pay more attention to your own skin, where my usual haunts lead.
