One interesting thing that comes out of this place is... well, the people. That should probably be obvious, but it's always interesting to meet people you would never have met if you hadn't been here. Mostly because they don't exist on your own world

[Still, he has a point. Bosco, Souji, Kaien, Miranda-- he grit his teeth at the last one, the wound still stinging a bit-- he wouldn't have met any of them if he'd never come here. This place was unfamiliar and dangerous, but what would he be doing at home instead?]

Ah, well, there's no reason to be pessimistic all the time. I've always found that looking on the bright side is the best way to keep the stormclouds at bay.
