[A series of loud thumps, clicks, and rattling noises can be heard when the recording begins. It sounds almost as though someone has dropped the Forge-or perhaps it has been deliberately thrown

[Kagero is silent for several moments before finally responding, fingernails scraping irritably at the surface of the Forge.]
New...? I suppose you could say that, yes.
[A pause. And then back to staring at the Forge, not that one can tell at the moment. She's a little... unnerved... by the voice coming from the hand-held device.]
Who are you. [It's spoken a little more harshly than intended. Kagero's on edge. What she really wants to know, however, is where Priscilla is.]

[Kagero takes a minute or so to figure out how to change between audio and video settings. A lot of buttons are getting pushed... so many that she's starting to think she should have explored the functions more before trying to make contact with anyone, because she feels foolish right now taking so long to do it.
That's why her face, when the camera finally focuses on her, is a little scrunched with frustration. She keeps her tone even this time, however.]
Priscilla... I am Kagero, of the Koga Ninja.
[She hesitates, then continues...] Tell me, where... are you? And this place, what... where is it?
[Priscilla informed her that there were other ninja here, so his interest in that also interests her.]
Mochizuki territory, and that is all I shall say. [Giving the exact location to someone showing such blatant interest would be a bad thing, especially if they're a ninja and of a clan she knows nothing about.]
Are you one of the Leaf ninja I've heard of, by chance?

[Sasori sounds rather approving. If she's doesn't recognize the Leaf, she likely isn't from his world.
...Which means she won't be automatically predisposed against him, and could potentially prove useful.]
Hmm, you aren't loose with such information, unlike some of the so-called shinobi here. Clearly you took your lessons to heart.
I'm not certain how trustworthy these devices truly are when it comes to confidential information, but they can be used for private conversations. I find it more comfortable than speaking openly.
Here, I'll send you instructions, in case you haven't discerned it for yourself.
[Sends her a brief text message explaining how to use the private messaging functions.]
And I'm a shinobi myself, but not one affiliated with those from Konohagakure.

Of course I took my lessons to heart.
[Unfortunately for her she is quite used to being underestimated, especially by men... so she sounds very matter-of-fact as she says this.
When he sends the link through, then Kagero takes a moment to review the instructions carefully. Admittedly they will come in useful... and it's a kind favor on his part she won't forget.]
I'm not very familiar with devices like this at all, so I appreciate your help.
...If I may, who is it you're affiliated with? [She's keeping an eye out for any that could be cooperating with the Devils of Kimon, you see.]

I am Priscilla, and I have been here for long enough to understand your confusion. Um. Here.
[She switches to video, and immediately this tiny blond teenager appears on screen. She waves.]
Usually people people are confused when they first arrive. I'm sorry.

I suppose.
[It's a very reluctant admission, but fortunately through text you can't tell! :D]

I mean, all right, maybe it's not as state of the art as some other things I'm used to, but it's not bad considering what most people are using here.
Oh yeah, welcome to Anatole.

[So she can't really tell if this is junk or state of the art. :| It's nothing like the art she's familiar with from home, that's all she knows.]

...You'll have to excuse me for eavesdropping, but you say you're a Koga ninja?
I can't say I'm familiar with that clan. Which village are you from?
[It certainly isn't one he's heard of himself, or one his subordinates fed him information about, which automatically captures his interest.]
