It isn't, you can tell because it works.

I mean, all right, maybe it's not as state of the art as some other things I'm used to, but it's not bad considering what most people are using here.

Well, you figured out how to write with it, that's a start. Not that hard to use, really. You can talk to everyone else with it, except the natives.
