I have absolutely no plans to leave LJ, but if you would like extra help for creating a fork, I'd be willing to help.

I'm interested in helping out. (Here via dglenn's Friends list; I think we met IRL back when I lived in MD; we have a lot of mutual friends.)

With all due respect, my good friend, it's just LJ. Stop thinking.

I looked at GreatestJournal, and it gave me a bad vibe. Mostly, what made me wince is the emphasis on pictures, testimonials and hits. It seemed like LJ trying to become MySpace, or something - the hipper, more popularity-oriented version. Thanks but no thanks.

Me, I'll be right here as long as my friends are, and I suspect it'd be darn unlikely to make _all_ of them move. And, I'd be sad if some of them moved, because I really have no energy to keep up with two.

I'm willing to give them another chance. Being a Casper Milquetoast, I was not amongst the stricken, albeit several friends were. One of them is now one of the people advising and offering ongoing input on their new ToS and other internal guidelines.

Will LJ be a perfect place - nope, but I've not had anything close to the kind of camaraderie with the few other sites I've explored. I'm staying put for the time being.
