Productive

A very productive day thus far, thanks to my lovely efbq. The articles of incorporation were returned by the state (!), thanks to not having fee payment connected to them (whut?) Resubmitted the articles in person, making sure they kept hold of the damned check this time (Note: stop payment on that last check). From there, she picked up crazieabby's ref kit, then picked me up and took me to the old stomping grounds of Reisterstown Road to the Dept. of Vital Records in order to get copies of our birth certificates from which to get passports, which will allow us to head off for Montréal this summer (Note: brush up the français). For my own part, besides stuff here at work, I've printed out my special study notes for my part in Murder Takes the Stage, which I'm getting close to being off-book on, got my old LJ articles archived offline (using LJBook), and fielded the return call from the lawyer on the bylaws for The Exchange, which were pretty much ready for prime time. Things sometimes just do come together.

On the internets last night, I came across the unusual phenomenon of "flying humanoids". I mean, this is just great: "witches" flying all over Mexico (I blame nacho_cheese), including a "close encounter" with one by a police officer in Guadalupe. I love the Internet.

general weirdness, the exchange, goals
